Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Herb Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lance Lyde! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A little jabbing left from Lyde on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Green misses with a wild body shot. Green throws the kick towards the body but Lyde avoids it. Lyde throws a right hand that misses
so Green counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Green tries to free his leg and advance position but Lyde is retaining full guard. Lyde looking for a sweep. Not yet Lyde, not yet. Green drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lyde manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Green has Lyde in his guard. Green wants to sweep here but Lyde controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lyde gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lyde in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green is looking for a triangle but Lyde pushes his legs off easily.
Green had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lyde defends it easily. Green avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lyde wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position. Green throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lyde throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green is trying to control the position but Lyde postures up. Lyde in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lyde with a flurry of punches that miss. Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lyde's guard. Lyde is wriggling around but Green manages to pass to half guard.
Green is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lyde has his feet on Green's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Green uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lyde. Lyde uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Green has time to react. Green looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lyde misses with a hook. Green ducked under it nicely. Green swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Lance Lyde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lyde takes a swing at Green's ribcage but misses. Lyde avoids the body shot from Green.
A little jabbing left from Lyde on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Green looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lyde swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Green tries to counter with a takedown but Lyde is quick to defend against it. Lyde misses with a wild combination.
Lyde throws a series of punches but Green avoids them all with ease. Green attempts a counter takedown but Lyde avoids it well and moves away. A left and a right from Lyde both land. Nice combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lyde misses with the combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lyde uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Green. Lyde tries to bum rush Green with a series of wild strikes but Green uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Green slips a jab and a cross from Lyde.
Lyde takes one on the button. Lyde misses with a left hand and Lyde takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Green misses the shot to the body. Lyde misses with a looping left. Green cracks Lyde with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. It looks like Lance Lyde has been cut. Green misses with a head kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lyde, as that shot connected.
Lyde ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Green misses with the body kick and Lyde counters with a nice body shot. A jab from Lyde does it's job there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lance Lyde will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lance Lyde's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Lyde takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lyde ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Green is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Lance Lyde seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lyde on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Lyde looks to throw the jab but Green is out of range. A swing and a miss from Green. Green misses the body punch and Lyde counters with a straight right hand. Lyde throws out a loose jab but Green uses good head movement to avoid it. Green throws an overhand right that lands on Lyde's shoulder, as Lyde tries to avoid the shot. Lyde bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lyde throws a body punch but Green moves out of range. It looked like Green was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lyde. Green takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Lyde scores with a crisp jab that stopped Green in his tracks. Green is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lyde flashes Green a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Green's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Green crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Lyde punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Of Skalitz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dukat throws a hook to the side of Of Skalitz's head but Of Skalitz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dukat pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dukat throws a shot from downtown. Of Skalitz moves away and avoids it. Dukat fails in his attempt to clinch. Of Skalitz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Of Skalitz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dukat's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Of Skalitz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Of Skalitz stalling. Dukat looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Of Skalitz is looking to stall here but Dukat recovers full guard. Of Skalitz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Of Skalitz gets to his feet. Dukat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Of Skalitz misses with the body kick and Dukat counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dukat keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Of Skalitz's head. Of Skalitz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dukat drops back looking for a leg! Of Skalitz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Of Skalitz manages to kick Dukat off! Dukat jumps back into Of Skalitz's guard. Dukat pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Of Skalitz is keeping the position for now. Of Skalitz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Of Skalitz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dukat's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dukat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dukat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dukat trying to control but Of Skalitz is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dukat connects with a couple of short punches. Of Skalitz keeping moving, preventing Dukat from controlling successfully. Dukat sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Of Skalitz's guard. Dukat missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Dukat lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Of Skalitz is trying to get back to full guard. Dukat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dukat is thwarting Of Skalitz's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dukat wants to control but Of Skalitz is keeping him busy. Dukat working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dukat thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dukat is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Of Skalitz actively working from the bottom here. Dukat stalling away here and it's allowed Of Skalitz to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Dukat lands a body shot. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dukat creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Dukat has Of Skalitz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Of Skalitz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dukat swings wildly with an uppercut but Of Skalitz uses good head movement to avoid it. Of Skalitz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dukat walks away with a smile on his face. Of Skalitz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Of Skalitz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Of Skalitz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dukat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Of Skalitz. Of Skalitz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dukat defends well and Of Skalitz ends up having to push Dukat into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dukat misses with a looping left. Of Skalitz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dukat avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dukat fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Of Skalitz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Henry Of Skalitz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Of Skalitz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dukat sprawls well. Dukat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Of Skalitz gets slowly back to his feet. Of Skalitz closes the distance and clinches up with Dukat, looking for a takedown. Of Skalitz pushes Dukat against the cage but Dukat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Of Skalitz shoots for a double leg takedown but Dukat sprawls well. He's pushed Of Skalitz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gul Dukat is winning the standup battle so far. Dukat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Of Skalitz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dukat moves into range and connects with a jab. Dukat leaves Of Skalitz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Of Skalitz manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Of Skalitz wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dukat misses with a body punch.

Dukat wants to control the pace but Of Skalitz is squirming around nicely. Dukat looking to finish Of Skalitz with some ground and pound. This is bad for Of Skalitz! Henry Of Skalitz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dukat in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that's the end of the fight! Gul Dukat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dukat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Gul Dukat! A very excited looking Gul Dukat rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Jones slips a straight right by Anubis. Anubis throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Jones counters with a left to the body. Jones throws a leg kick enabling Anubis to counter with a crisp jab. Jones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Anubis lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Anubis throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Anubis ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Anubis slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones takes a kick to the side of the head. Anubis scores with a jab to the jaw. Jones has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Anubis. Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Anubis slips a jab from Jones. Anubis looks like he wants to counter punch here. Anubis thows a left - swing and a miss! A punch combination from Anubis misses. Anubis scores with a nice head shot. Anubis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. Anubis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Anubis lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Anubis takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish! Jones is rocked! Anubis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jones drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Anubis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jones's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lafayette lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Lafayette throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fudd shoots in and drives through. Lafayette sprawls well. Lafayette throwing a counter right hand but Fudd manages to avoid it. Fudd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. and Jack counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Duvernay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
