The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watts gets tackled into the ropes by Nickels. Nickels maintains the clinch. Nickels tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Nickels lands a hook that snaps the head of Watts backwards. Nickels misses with a punch on the inside.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cole Watts! A very excited looking Cole Watts rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Jackson has Trambai pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jackson pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Trambai tumbling to the mat - Jackson dives into Trambai's guard. Trambai controls Jackson momentarily but Jackson frees himself.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jackson manages to end up in side control. Trambai is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Trambai rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jackson's guard! Nice work there by Trambai! Trambai won't allow Jackson to sweep him here. This has been an exciting period of action! Trambai gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jackson has taken the fight to the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tulikoura. Coker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A low kick from Coker is predictable there and Tulikoura connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Coker ducks under a wild hook from Tulikoura. An attempted straight right counter from Coker misses the target. Coker throws a hook but Tulikoura blocks it. Coker throws a lazy uppercut
and Tulikoura counters with an inside leg kick. Tulikoura throws a body punch but Coker moves out of range. Coker looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Coker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Coker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Tulikoura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coker sees it coming and avoids it easily. Coker misses with a kick to the body.

Tulikoura throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Coker throws a body shot but no joy. A good leg kick by Coker. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tulikoura slips under a jab from Coker. Tulikoura throws a leg kick but Coker sees it coming and moves out of range. Coker throws a leg kick which misses Tulikoura's front leg but catches the back leg as Tulikoura tries to avoid it. Coker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tulikoura. Tulikoura feints and then cracks Coker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Coker down. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Coker misses with a wild body shot. Akeen Coker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tulikoura tries to close the distance and clinch but Coker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Coker throwing a counter right hand but Tulikoura manages to avoid it. Tulikoura throws a solid leg kick but Coker takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tulikoura. Tulikoura tried to score with a low kick but Coker checks it. Tulikoura dips to his left and cracks Coker with an uppercut! Coker with a hook. Coker fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tulikoura checks it well. Coker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tulikoura on the side of the head. Coker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Coker tries to counter by clinching up but Tulikoura breaks away and moves out of range. Tulikoura throws a body shot but no joy. Tulikoura throws a leg kick that is checked and Coker counters with a good low kick that Tulikoura was not able to check. Coker throws an off balance right hand

Ungar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Whitaker has his hands clasped together around Ungar's back. He's all about the action. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alphonzo Mirage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krsto Vujić! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vujić lands a nice shot that snaps Mirage's head back.

Vujić fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mirage manages to avoid it. Vujić has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mirage is landing a low percentage of strikes. A decent looking cross lands there for Vujić. A low kick lands for Mirage.
Vujić comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mirage does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mirage takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. We've been told by Mirage's head coaches at OFFSEASON Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Vujić throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vujić dips to his left and cracks Mirage with an uppercut! Vujić sizes up Mirage with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mirage takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. An inside leg kick from Mirage misses. Krsto Vujić seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vujić ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mirage swats away the attempt to clinch by Vujić. Vujić lands a nice looking body shot.
Vujić throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mirage tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vujić is in Mirage's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mirage is on top in guard.

Mirage trying to control the position from guard on top but Vujić is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mirage is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Vujić is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mirage is really struggling to control Vujić but he's trying to hold on to the position. Mirage slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A lull in the action here as Mirage stalls from top position. Mirage has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mirage decides to stand back up. Mirage steps back and let's Vujić get back to his feet. Alphonzo Mirage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vujić tries to close the distance and clinch but Mirage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mirage swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Vujić lands a slapping body shot.
Jab, jab by Mirage - just one landing. Mirage is looking to land body kicks. Mirage swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mirage throws a body punch but Vujić moves out of range. Vujić is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!
