Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Averyanov (ranked 1985 p4p, 3319 weight class) and Lorenzo Bianchi (ranked 265 p4p, 430 weight class). Averyanov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drago's Entrance Theme. Bianchi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Frank Sinatra - Bim Bam Baby. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haden walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Balkan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Balkan lands with a straight right. Haden didn't see that one coming.
Balkan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Haden swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Balkan's corner calls for a 1-2. Balkan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boris Balkan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Balkan's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Haden is holding on here and Balkan must be using up a lot of energy. Haden has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Balkan gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Izanagi clobbers Lampi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
