James pushes WooWoo up against the cage in a clinch. James lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. James scores with a shot to the side of WooWoo's head. James lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of WooWoo backwards. James stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Liam Mcgregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles E Boles! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgregor fails in his attempt to clinch. Some bone on bone action there as Boles checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A slow jab from Mcgregor misses its intended target. Boles lands with a nice body punch. Mcgregor misses with a double jab
and Boles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Boles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mcgregor goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mcgregor looks to land a combination but Boles avoids it well. A little jabbing left from Boles on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Mcgregor misses with a two punch combination.
Boles stuffs the takedown. Mcgregor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boles now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Mcgregor shoots in for a takedown but Boles shows good takedown defense. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Boles! But no joy. Mcgregor misses with a double jab.

Liam Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mcgregor lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Mcgregor tries to clinch but Boles is having none of it. Mcgregor throws a right and a left that both miss. Boles looks like he wants to counter punch here. Mcgregor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Boles cracks Mcgregor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Boles thuds a left hand into Mcgregor's body. Mcgregor throws a right and a left that Boles avoids nicely. Boles swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Mcgregor misses with the combination.
Boles slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Boles slips a jab and a cross from Mcgregor.
A little jabbing left from Boles on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Boles sends Mcgregor crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Boles is motioning to the referee to let Mcgregor up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Mcgregor is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcgregor wants to clinch and Boles counters with a big left hand that crumples Mcgregor! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasilescu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ringo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Vasilescu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ringo finds it's way round the side to connect with Vasilescu's head. It looks like Serghei Vasilescu has been cut. Ringo cracks Vasilescu with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Vasilescu tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ringo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Vasilescu is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pollard tries a head kick but it misses.
Panda looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Panda takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Panda takes a body punch but keeps moving. Pollard looks to land a body kick but Panda moved away. Pollard throws a head kick but Panda moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Panda's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Pollard pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Panda let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Pollard misses with a head kick.

Panda drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pollard defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Panda dodges the punch combination from Pollard.

And Panda tries to counter it with a takedown but Pollard pushes his down on his head and steps out. Panda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cedric Pollard dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Pollard throws a series of punches but Panda moves out of range. Pollard is looking to wear down Panda with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Pollard feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Panda sprawling to the canvas! Panda rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pollard finish him?!
Panda is rocked! Panda moves out of range of the body kick from Pollard.
Panda tries to counter by closing the distance. Panda is still on wobbly legs! Can Pollard finish him? Cedric Pollard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pollard misses with a straight left. Panda seems to have recovered his senses. Pollard is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Panda can do to turn this around? Panda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pollard.
Pollard batters Panda with a massive right followed by a huge left! Panda is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Pollard lands a final crushing right hand to drop Panda to the mat with a gruesome thud! Pollard is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

I think Aury might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Party Up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Aury counters with a straight right hand. Aury has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym in the buildup to the fight. Aury throws a hook to the side of Castellanos's head but Castellanos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Castellanos misses with a kick to the body.
Aury was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A slow jab from Aury misses its intended target. Castellanos sends Aury crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Castellanos is motioning to the referee to let Aury up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! It looks like Apollinaire Aury has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Aury misses with a left hand and Castellanos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Aury is rocked! Aury thows a left - swing and a miss! Aury misses with a right hand and Castellanos counters with a huge left! Aury is in big trouble! He's backing up but Castellanos isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Aury from any more damage. A dominating finish by Castellanos!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shooter lands a right hook to the body.
Shooter looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Shooter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Shooter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruiz on the ground. Ruiz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shooter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruiz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shooter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Shooter controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shooter stopping the sweep attempt from Ruiz. Shooter lands a couple of digs. Shooter content to stall in guard here. Shooter stops Ruiz from standing up. Shooter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Shooter lands a couple of elbows. That was a close round but I would say that Manny Shooter will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Shooter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shooter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ruiz. Ruiz feints and then cracks Shooter's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shooter down. Ruiz goes for a high kick. It partially lands. A slow jab from Shooter misses its intended target. Ruiz has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Ruiz tries to sprawl but Shooter drives through with a takedown into half guard. Shooter throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ruiz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Well, if Shooter is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Shooter sitting in guard here, content to control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ruiz was covering up waiting for the punch and Shooter finishes the takedown easily into guard. Shooter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Shooter passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ruiz being controlled for a moment. Shooter wants to control but Ruiz is keeping him busy.

Ruiz tries to buck Shooter off but Shooter is having none of it. Ruiz struggling a bit here. Shooter controls the position from side control. Shooter lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ruiz down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ruiz tries to buck Shooter off but Shooter is having none of it. Shooter trying to control the position but Ruiz is working away. Ruiz is looking for a sweep. Shooter scores with a couple of short elbows. Shooter looks up at the clock and then as Ruiz takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shooter smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Ruiz can't do much from the bottom here. Shooter landing a few strikes. Shooter fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Ruiz is not content to let Shooter control the position. Shooter controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shooter grinds an elbow into Ruiz's temple. Shooter is working Ruiz over with some ground and pound from side control. Shooter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ruiz keeps working. Ruiz tries to improve position but can't. Shooter wants to control but Ruiz is keeping him busy. Shooter in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Shooter controlling from side mount. Shooter misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shooter tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ruiz's legs. Shooter landing a few strikes. Ruiz is trying to get back to half guard. Shooter working the ground and pound. Shooter landing a few strikes. Ruiz wants to get back to his feet. Ruiz defending against the ground and pound. Ruiz takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shooter cracks Ruiz with a big right hand but Ruiz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ruiz is rocked! Shooter remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Anthony Ruiz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Manny Shooter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ruiz is still in real trouble! Can Shooter finish him? Shooter lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ruiz down.
And that's the end of the fight! Manny Shooter showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shooter, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
