Cartier cracks Mesquita with an open hand slap.
Cartier fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nice body punch from Cartier.

Cartier clobbers Mesquita with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Cartier feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mesquita sprawling to the canvas! Mesquita rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cartier finish him?!
Mesquita is rocked!
Cash Cartier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cartier cracks Mesquita with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mesquita tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cartier pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mesquita is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Cejka cracks Sonnen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sonnen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cejka tries to avoid it but Sonnen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cejka to the ground. Cejka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice uppercut lands for Cejka. That snapped Sonnen's head back.
No joy there for Cejka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cejka lands with an uppercut that bounces Sonnen off the cage and back into range.
Cestmir Cejka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sonnen drives through and clinches with Cejka against the cage.

Sonnen jumps guard and drags Cejka to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sonnen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cejka should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sonnen has tightened it up now! Cejka should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
