Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between No Infection Purpose (ranked 5359 p4p, 6091 weight class) and Bruce Tucker (ranked 446 p4p, 483 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, No Infection Purpose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Tucker! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Purpose fails in his attempt to clinch. Purpose fails with a takedown attempt. Tucker shoots in and drives through. Purpose sprawls well. Tucker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Purpose's hands. Purpose works over Tucker's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Bruce Tucker has been cut. Tucker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Purpose fails with a takedown attempt. Tucker scores with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Purpose keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tucker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Purpose stuffs the takedown attempt from Tucker. Tucker gets slowly back to his feet. Purpose wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. No Infection Purpose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Tucker.

Purpose stands up from half guard. Purpose tries to clinch up but Tucker circles away and keeps his distance. Tucker closes the distance and clinches up with Purpose, looking for a takedown. Tucker pushes Purpose against the cage but Purpose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Purpose is looking to counter the offense by Tucker and move into the clinch. Some wild striking there from Purpose.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Purpose looks for a takedown but Tucker sprawls well. Tucker appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tucker wants to counter with a clinch but Purpose pushes him away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for No Infection Purpose. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tucker fails with the takedown. Tucker shoots in looking for a takedown but Purpose manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tucker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Purpose shoots in and drives through. Tucker sprawls well. Nice takedown defense from Purpose. No joy for Tucker on that attempt. Purpose throws a big counter combination but Tucker scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Tucker shoots in for a double leg but Purpose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fight stays on the outside here - Tucker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Purpose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tucker swats him away and circles back towards the center. Purpose leaves Tucker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. As Tucker tries to get set, Purpose tries to push him back and clinch up but Tucker manages to avoid the attempt. Tucker wants to clinch. No Infection Purpose is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tucker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Purpose has a closed guard, preventing Tucker from standing up. Purpose trying to control the position here. Purpose wants to get back to his feet but Tucker is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Purpose looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tucker is one step ahead there.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tucker is looking to clinch. It looked like Purpose was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Purpose blocks a head kick by Tucker.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tucker tries for a takedown but Purpose sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tucker misses with a jab, cross combination.

Purpose fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tucker avoids it really well and circles away. Tucker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Purpose swivels and escapes. Purpose looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Tucker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Purpose backs up against the cage.

Tucker closes the distance and clinches up with Purpose, looking for a takedown. Tucker pushes Purpose against the cage but Purpose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Purpose ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Purpose no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Purpose is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tucker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Purpose is keeping the position for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tucker trying to control the position from guard on top but Purpose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bruce Tucker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! No Infection Purpose is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tucker is looking to work some ground and pound but Purpose has wrist control.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fobbs scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Ian Gary has been cut. Fobbs fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And Gary tries to counter it with a takedown but Fobbs pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fobbs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gary's guard. Gary being controlled here, momentarily. Gary wants to sweep but no luck. Fobbs postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gary tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fobbs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fobbs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fobbs preventing the sweep.

Fobbs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gary is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fobbs stands up. Gary fails in his attempt to clinch. Fobbs feinted with a counter takedown. A nice leg kick from Fobbs, right into the meat of the thigh.

Fobbs is controlling Gary's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fobbs is on top in guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fobbs lands a glancing blow to the side of Gary's head. Gary looks winded! Gary has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fobbs.
Fobbs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fobbs is working Gary over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fobbs engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gary is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fobbs works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fobbs takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fobbs seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gary for as long as he can get away with. Fobbs looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gary with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fobbs looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fobbs's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. so Fobbs counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gary is breathing heavily. Fobbs pushes down on Gary's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gary on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Fobbs sitting and controlling from the half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fobbs is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Fobbs with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Fobbs has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Fobbs controlling from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fobbs cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fobbs is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gary to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gary shrugs it off. A nice elbow there by Fobbs. Fobbs controlling from the full mount. Fobbs scoring with strikes but Gary is staying in there. Fobbs controlling the pace for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fobbs lands a nice shot to the head. Fobbs controlling from mount. Fobbs with the ground and pound from mount. Fobbs is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gary can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fobbs looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Fobbs is taking a breather. Gary says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Fobbs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fobbs scores with a takedown into Gary's guard. Gary is looking to stand back up but Fobbs counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gary.
Fobbs perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Fobbs is stinking the place up with his stalling. Fobbs is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gary!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fobbs with shots to the head and body - Gary looks very uncomfortable down there. Fobbs controlling from mount.
Gary defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Fobbs. Fobbs tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vicer Fobbs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fobbs cracks Gary with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fobbs working Gary over with strikes here. Fobbs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fobbs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fobbs is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gary can do to turn this around?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barkeep Quark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Enzo Blue! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quark drives through and clinches with Blue against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Quark jumps into guard, dragging Blue to the mat.
Blue must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Blue wants to control from the top but Quark keeps moving.
Quark working for submissions but it's allowed Blue to get to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quark wants to control but Blue is keeping busy.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Quark definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Quark looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Quark is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Blue's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Blue's back! Blue wants to control his opponent's hands but Quark gets his hands free.
