Chugman has Kraag pressed against the cage, preventing Kraag from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Chugman is pushing Kraag up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Chugman has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Kraag seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Chugman can turn it around.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ship clinches with his opponent.
Ship blocks an uppercut.
Ship is trying to pull guard but Lemieux turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Lemieux lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
It looks like Roman Ship has been cut.

Lemieux's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lemieux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hunter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Cobb counters with a nice right hand that sends Hunter toppling to the canvas! Hunter scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cobb finish him?!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Cobb thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hunter if he has to take too many more of those.
Oh Hunter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunter throws a series of punches but Cobb moves out of range.
Cobb connects with a solid leg kick.
Cobb is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hunter flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hunter is out cold! Cobb holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
