Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nitro (ranked 2872 p4p, 3407 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 379 p4p, 440 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kron Gracie! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nitro throws a leg kick but Gracie checks it. A punch combination from Nitro misses. Nitro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nitro.

Gracie misses the jab. Jimmy Nitro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nitro dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nitro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nitro feinted there with a counter leg kick. Nitro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gracie throws an off balance right hand
and Nitro counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Gracie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nitro at a distance.
Nitro digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs. Gracie blocks a jab. Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nitro looking to control.

Nitro controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Nitro blocks nicely. Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nitro works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gracie postures up in Nitro's guard and throws a big left but Nitro blocks it. Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nitro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gracie wants to control from the top but Nitro keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie is now in Nitro's guard. Nitro is rocked! Gracie showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Nitro looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nitro seems keen to control Gracie's posture. Nitro working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gracie.

It's preventing any offense from Gracie, at least for the moment. Nitro is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Nitro managing to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A big left from Gracie misses. Nitro throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Nitro misses with a two punch combination.
Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nitro to score with a decent uppercut. Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Nitro blocks nicely. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Nitro is retaining full guard. Gracie with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nitro takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Gracie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nitro swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard. Oh Nitro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gracie postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Nitro covers up, he's hurt! Gracie keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Gracie and the ref steps in to end the fight! Gracie can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chika uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fist. Fist throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A slapping leg kick lands for Chika.
Fist moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Chika lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chika misses with a looping right. Fist sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Fist is breathing heavily. Chika lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Fist falls backwards - clearly groggy! Chika dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
