Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Lassiter fails in his attempt to clinch. Lassiter works over Barnes's head and body with a nice combination. Barnes looks to land a left hand but Lassiter moved out of range nicely. Barnes misses with a wild body shot. Barnes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lassiter.

Barnes circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Barnes is rocked! Barnes throws a jab but it's blocked by Lassiter. Lassiter swings widly with a right hand
and Barnes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lassiter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Oh Barnes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lassiter misses the shot to the body. Barnes gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lassiter gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Barnes is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Kururugi throws a body kick that misses. Maharajah definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Kururugi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maharajah looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kururugi blocks a jab. Jamie Hull has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. And that's the end of the fight! Paulo Maldini comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Maldini has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
