The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDonald darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McDonald is looking for a kimura but Bronco is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McDonald to get the leverage.

Bronco is doing well to control the position and prevent McDonald from advancing to side control.
