The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weismuller forces Robertson back against the cage and clinches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Robertson.
I was talking to Weismuller's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Robertson tries to work over Weismuller's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Weismuller cracks Robertson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Weismuller has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Robertson to stand back up!

Tommy Weismuller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weismuller throws an overhand right that drops Robertson like a sack of potatoes! Weismuller dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Carter throws a right and a left that Bakarow avoids nicely.
Carter lands with a nice combination. Bakarow backs away looking to recover.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Carter checks a leg kick.
Bakarow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looked like Bakarow was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nice uppercut there from Carter.

Bakarow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
