Danger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Christ lands a nice hook to Danger's body. Danger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Christ throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Christ is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. It looks like Abello Danger has been cut. Christ looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A telegraphed right hand from Christ misses the target. Danger waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Christ. Danger throws a body punch but Christ moves out of range. Danger scores with a hook to the body. Christ takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Christ ducks under a wild hook from Danger. Danger misses with a hook. Christ ducked under it nicely. and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Danger is rocked! A telegraphed right hand from Danger misses the target.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz goes for a double leg but Morpheus avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morpheus continues to drive forward. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Diaz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. An inside leg kick lands from Morpheus. Diaz fails to land the takedown. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice takedown defense from Morpheus. No joy for Diaz on that attempt. Daniel Morpheus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Diaz. Diaz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Morpheus. Diaz dives in for a single leg takedown but Morpheus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A head kick from Morpheus lands but Diaz takes it in his stride. Morpheus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morpheus circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Diaz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Morpheus follows Diaz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Moura is working to avoid the ground and pound but Drugger connects with a decent elbow. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mikhailov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A little jabbing left from Li on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've been hearing reports that Mikhailov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Mikhailov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Li manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mikhailov looks to clinch and Li counters with a nice uppercut. Mikhailov wants to clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Li! But no joy. Mikhailov gets a clinch. Li lands with a short head shot on the inside. Li lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li has a couple of punches blocked by Mikhailov.
