Akuma Manivong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kiryu Kazuma (ranked 134 p4p, 125 weight class) and Silent Bob (ranked 19 p4p, 17 weight class). Kazuma kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Uroko by Dir En Grey. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silent Bob!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazuma throws a hook to the side of Bob's head but Bob sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kazuma slips under a jab from Bob.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kazuma. Bob does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bob lands a nice shot to the body.
Bob moves forwards but Kazuma connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kazuma scores with a decent looking hook.
Bob's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kazuma connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bob scrambles back to his feet.
Kazuma takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bob is looking to slow Kazuma down with leg kicks.
Kazuma tries to bum rush Bob with a series of wild strikes but Bob uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bob scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kazuma in his tracks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bob is looking to slow Kazuma down with leg kicks.
Kazuma looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bob lands the left hand.
Silent Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob has Kazuma up against the cage in a clinch.
Bob lands with a left to the head.
Kazuma blocks an uppercut.
Bob misses with the head strike.
Kazuma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bob turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kazuma throws a leg kick but Bob sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kazuma lands with an uppercut that bounces Bob off the cage and back into range.
Bob uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kazuma.

Bob throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kazuma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kazuma throws a hook but Bob blocks it.
Kazuma takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bob thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bob looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bob moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bob misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bob fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bob misses with the head strike.
A short right from Bob on the inside.
Bob pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bob successfully pulls guard.
Kazuma would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bob is working an open guard so Kazuma takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bob lands a right hook to the body.
Bob dodges the punch combination from Kazuma.
It seemed like Bob was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bob catches Kazuma with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kazuma throws an overhand right that has Bob reeling! Kazuma follows up with more punches and Bob is out cold! This one is all over!
