Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yorge Hidal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frendy Saputra! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saputra defending well as Hidal loads up on a big left hand. Hidal connects with the punch. Nice defenses there by Saputra. Saputra gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A left and a right from Saputra both land. Nice combination. Hidal throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hidal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Saputra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hidal.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Saputra has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Saputra scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Saputra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hidal paws at him with a jab and circles away. A jab from Saputra finds it's way through Hidal's defenses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! This has been an exciting period of action! Hidal looks to land a left hand but Saputra moved out of range nicely. Hidal drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Saputra looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hidal! Saputra has knee on belly and moves into mount. Saputra looking to secure an arm triangle but Hidal defends it well. Hidal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Harley Bird! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick Barkley! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barkley jabs Bird to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bird doesn't succeed with the takedown and Barkley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. It looks like Harley Bird has been cut. Bird swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Barkley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bird thinking. Bird misses with a wild combination.
Bird gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bird takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bird throws a half hearted mid kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barkley scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bird on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bird attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bird pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barkley scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A low kick from Bird is predictable there and Barkley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bird throws a lazy head kick and Barkley counters with a right hand to the body. Bird is breathing heavily. Nice shot by Barkley. Barkley lands a big right hand that sends Bird crashing to the mat! Barkley stays standing though and waves Bird back to his feet! Bird is rocked! Harley Bird's cut is getting worse. This has been an exciting period of action! Barkley connects with a body shot. Barkley lands a nice hook to Bird's body. Bird takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Barkley lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bird is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Harley Bird's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Barkley has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bird is landing a low percentage of strikes. Barkley lands a big right hand that sends Bird crashing to the mat! Barkley stays standing though and waves Bird back to his feet! Oh Bird is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bird walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Barkley! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Truth throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Theodorakis sees it coming and avoids it easily. Theodorakis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Truth scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. It looks like Theodoros Theodorakis has been cut. Theodorakis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Truth. Theodorakis darts in and clinches Truth up against the cage. Truth scores with a nice hook to the head. Theodorakis blocks a body shot from Truth. Truth lands a nice uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Theodorakis. Theodorakis is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Theodorakis misses with a short punch on the inside. Truth tries to work over Theodorakis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Theodorakis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Theodorakis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Theodorakis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Truth works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Truth wants to stand up but Theodorakis is controlling him. Truth trying to control the position here.

Dawkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duran moves away. Dawkins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dawkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duran.
Duran's coach down at Casa Steel was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duran's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Dawkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duran.
Dawkins changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Duran throws a big shot that misses. Duran looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A counter left hand to the body from Dawkins misses its target. Dawkins walks into a jab. Dawkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Duran. Dawkins lands with a shot to the body. Dawkins throws a strike aimed at the side of Duran's head but Duran avoids it well. Dawkins throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Duran is not content to let Dawkins control the position. Duran struggling a bit here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dawkins in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Duran counters with a good, hard body kick but Dawkins shrugs it off. Duran thuds his right hand into Dawkins's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dawkins throws a hook but Duran blocks it. Dawkins jabbing away but nothing is landing. Duran appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Dawkins misses with a body shot.

Duran stuffs the takedown attempt from Dawkins. Dawkins gets slowly back to his feet. Duran throws a body shot but no joy. Dawkins looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Duran! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dawkins connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Duran some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran dodges the ground and pound from Dawkins. Dawkins taking a break here but Duran is having none of it and regains half guard. Dawkins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dawkins thows a huge punch but Duran dodges it nicely.
Duran regains full guard. Nicely done. Dawkins wants to control from the top but Duran keeps moving.

Duran lands with a right hand. Dawkins throws an overhand right that lands on Duran's shoulder, as Duran tries to avoid the shot. Dawkins walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dawkins throws a hook to the side of Duran's head but Duran sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A punch combination from Duran misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duran, as that shot connected.
Duran pushes Dawkins away with a front kick. Dawkins throws a big shot that misses. Duran throws a poor cross that misses
and Duran takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dawkins scores with a punch to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duran jabbing away but nothing is landing. Duran has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Duran scores with a one two! Dawkins had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Dawkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Duran slaps away a takedown attempt from Dawkins, before circling back to the center of the mat. It seemed like Duran was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Duran ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Duran rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dawkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Duran smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Vaga Duran seems to be getting the better of the standup. Duran throws an off balance right hand
and Dawkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Vaga Duran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duran moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Dawkins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Duran. Dawkins rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Duran to counter with a crisp jab. Dawkins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Vaga Duran comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dawkins has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Abdul throws a series of punches but Armstrong moves out of range. Abdul changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Armstrong tries to avoid it but Abdul manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Armstrong to the ground. Armstrong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Armstrong lands with a hook. Abdul tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Armstrong digs a good body shot into Abdul's ribs. Abdul pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Armstrong dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hoosein Abdul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abdul misses with an uppercut. Armstrong saw that one coming. Armstrong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tres Santos uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bidden takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. It looks like Joe Bidden has been cut. Bidden looks to land a right hand but Tres Santos moved out of range. Bidden dodges the punch combination from Tres Santos.

A little jabbing left from Bidden on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tres Santos connects with the punch. Tres Santos tries to recover but Bidden is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Tres Santos lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
