Kaori doesn't manage to clinch there - Gage circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gage wants to clinch.

Gage manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kaori on his heels. He'll look to pass Kaori's guard now, I'm sure.

Kaori manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but Oscar Gage did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Gage cracks Kaori with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Kaori comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kaori tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gage swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kaori stuffs the takedown attempt from Gage. Gage gets slowly back to his feet.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
Kaori needs to keep his hands up - Gage had a free shot at his head there.
Kaori smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gage misses with a few strikes there.
Kaori throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kaori has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Gage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kaori swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kaori lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Gage fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kaori clinches up with Gage and pushes him back against the cage.

Kaori escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kaori throws a jab when Gage was well out of range.
Gage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kaori avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Gage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kaori displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gage.

Kaori drives through and clinches with Gage against the cage.
Kaori throws a head punch that misses.

Kaori's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gage shoots and misses

and Kaori counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gage! Kaori lets Gage back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Gage is rocked!
Oscar Gage's cut is getting worse.
Gage is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Kaori doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Gage crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Gage's bad books for that mishap!
