Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marchrius Rossi (ranked 699 p4p, 1585 weight class) and Anti Half Assed (ranked 101 p4p, 214 weight class). Rossi comes to the cage accompanied by Metal Slug Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Marchrius Rossi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 22 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anti Half Assed! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Half Assed throws a hook but Rossi blocks it. Half Assed throws a sloppy body shot
and Rossi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've been told by Rossi's head coaches at The Nonce Hunters that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Half Assed throws out a loose jab but Rossi uses good head movement to avoid it. Rossi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A punch lands to the side of Rossi 's head but he takes it in his stride. Half Assed jabs Rossi right on the nose. Rossi blinks but takes it well. Half Assed avoids the body shot from Rossi.

Half Assed shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rossi's guard. Rossi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Half Assed is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Half Assed's corner is telling him to maintain position. Half Assed throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Half Assed trying to control the position from guard on top but Rossi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rossi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Half Assed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Half Assed wants to control from the top but Rossi keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Half Assed stuns Rossi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Half Assed misses with a leg kick. Rossi lands with a hook. Half Assed tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Rossi misses with an uppercut. Half Assed saw that one coming. Half Assed cracks Rossi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rossi misses with a wild body shot. Half Assed connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rossi's hands. Half Assed takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Half Assed scores with a nice head shot. A big right from Half Assed misses. Nice uppercut lands for Half Assed. That snapped Rossi's head back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Anti Half Assed dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Half Assed swings widly with a right hand
and Rossi counters with a nice body shot. Anti Half Assed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Half Assed lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Half Assed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Half Assed scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rossi avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Half Assed misses the jab. Rossi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Half Assed. Half Assed has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Half Assed throws a combination. Rossi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Anti Half Assed seems to be getting the better of the standup. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Half Assed bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Half Assed pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rossi is looking to counter punch. Half Assed on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rossi on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rossi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

enabling Half Assed to counter with a crisp jab. Half Assed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rossi as he jumps to the side. Nice jab there from Rossi. Half Assed goes for a double leg but Rossi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rossi continues to drive forward. Rossi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Rossi throws a big shot that misses. Rossi slaps away a takedown attempt from Half Assed, before circling back to the center of the mat. Marchrius Rossi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anti Half Assed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Half Assed scores with a takedown into Rossi's guard. Half Assed trying to control but Rossi is working from the bottom. Rossi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rossi keeping moving, preventing Half Assed from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Half Assed postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Half Assed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rossi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Half Assed is stalling in the full guard. Half Assed in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Rossi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rossi misses with a hook
and Half Assed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rossi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Half Assed manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rossi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. A head kick misses from Rossi. Half Assed throws an off balance right hand
and Rossi counters with a stiff right hand. Half Assed walks into a left hand. Rossi throws a hook but Half Assed blocks it. Rossi defending well as Half Assed loads up on a big left hand. Marchrius Rossi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rossi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rossi has his feet on Half Assed's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Half Assed lands a leg kick that knocks Rossi off balance momentarily. Rossi gets caught flat footed, as Half Assed shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Anti Half Assed will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Rossi pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rossi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rossi walks into a jab. Rossi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Half Assed on the side of the head. Half Assed avoids the body shot from Rossi.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rossi misses with a hook. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rossi. Half Assed shrugs it off though. Half Assed throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rossi throws a hook to the side of Half Assed's head but Half Assed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rossi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Half Assed ducks under a wild hook from Rossi. Half Assed throws out a counter right but Rossi avoids it with no problem. Rossi loads up on a big right hand but Half Assed slips the punch. Half Assed avoids the body shot from Rossi.
Half Assed slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Half Assed misses with a left hand and Rossi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Half Assed misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rossi.
Half Assed lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Good leg kick by Rossi. Half Assed throws a jab but it's blocked by Rossi. Marchrius Rossi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anti Half Assed is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Half Assed stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Rossi misses with a leg kick and Half Assed counters with a two punch combo. Half Assed shoots in looking for a takedown. Rossi tries to sprawl out of it but Half Assed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rossi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rossi looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Nig misses with a straight left. Bolt let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Nig rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Reed. Reed throws out a leg kick but McGuire moves out of range and Reed only half commits. Reed really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McGuire gets the takedown into side control. Reed throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! We've been informed that McGuire has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. McGuire misses the jab. McGuire fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Reed to the ground. McGuire is now in Reed's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reed is adopting a defensive guard. McGuire wants to control from the top but Reed keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reed seems keen to control McGuire's posture. Reed has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Capac goes for a double leg but Con avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Con continues to drive forward. Capac misses with a hook to the ribs.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! Wagner tries to buck Seres off but Seres is having none of it. Wagner can't do much from the bottom here. Seres throws an elbow but Wagner slips to the side and avoids it well.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Andor Seres. Well Seres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Cobain fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Cobain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crow. Crow throws a lazy head kick and Cobain counters with a left to the body. Crow on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd cheers as Cobain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crow doesn't seem phased though. Cobain takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sora Izanagi! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Izanagi connects with a jab. Izanagi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jones is able to avoid easily. Jones was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jones lands a jab to the head.
Izanagi thows a body kick. Jones tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jones misses the jab. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Izanagi. Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Izanagi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet. Izanagi throws a nice outside leg kick. Izanagi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Izanagi lands a front kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones throws a body kick that misses and Izanagi counters by moving into the clinch. Jones lands a body punch in the clinch. Izanagi lands with a short punch from the clinch.
