After the fight, Kazuya Mishima was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nurmagomedov scores with a nice strike. Furriel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nurmagomedov as he avoids it easily. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milfort looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Boner fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Milfort swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Boner slips under a jab from Milfort. Johnny Boner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boner shoots in for a takedown but Milfort shows good takedown defense. Boner is looking to clinch but Milfort is avoiding it.

Thomas Quessy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
