Werner Heisenberg had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 161.0, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Yuki Shojumaru was cancelled.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCoy pushes Alert up against the cage in a clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from McCoy.
McCoy lands a hook that snaps the head of Alert backwards.
Alert looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

McCoy digs a right hand underneath Alert's ribcage. Alert let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Alert pulls guard effortlessly.
McCoy controlling from the top position.

Alert looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McCoy passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCoy wants to free his trapped foot but Alert is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Alert is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McCoy pulls his head out easily.

McCoy is taking a breather. Alert says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Alert is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McCoy forces Alert back against the cage and clinches.

The referee is keeping an eye on McCoy - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Alert wants a takedown but no success here.

McCoy pushes Alert back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Alert gets control of McCoy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Alert will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

McCoy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alert is on top in guard.

Alert wants to control from the top but McCoy keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Heelan.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Heelan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Heelan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hall to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Heelan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hall pulls down on the head and he's put Heelan to sleep! This one is all over!

Robbie Hall tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Aki shoots and misses
and Lemons counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Purple Aki has been cut.
Aki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lemons's waist but Lemons gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aki off to one side.
