The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greenburg stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A head kick by Abdu misses and Greenburg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. It looks like Karim Abdu has been cut. Abdu looks to throw the jab but Greenburg is out of range. Greenburg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at JLG in the buildup to the fight. Abdu misses the jab. Greenburg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Abdu. Abdu looks to land a combination but Greenburg avoids it well. Greenburg moves into the clinch. Greenburg pushes Abdu back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Greenburg blocking some punches.
