Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tonacatecuhtli Aztlan (ranked 5289 p4p, 5818 weight class) and David McDonald (ranked 526 p4p, 553 weight class). McDonald has chosen Run This Shit - SASASAS as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aztlan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McDonald misses the shot to the body.
Aztlan with a nice calf kick.
Aztlan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McDonald.
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aztlan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've been informed that McDonald has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Aztlan throws a front kick aimed at McDonald's knee but McDonald avoids it well.
McDonald swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aztlan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McDonald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

I think Shibre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dancey Dancey - Baby Cool. Acerbi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boom Boom Boom Boom - Venga Boys.
