Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naoise Durnin (ranked 2045 p4p, 1402 weight class) and Lou Slugger (ranked 251 p4p, 180 weight class). Durnin comes into the arena with I'm Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphy's blaring out of the sound system. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin tries to clinch there but Slugger circles away.
Despite the aggression on Slugger's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Durnin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Lou Slugger has been cut.
Durnin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Slugger scores with a jab to the jaw.
Slugger throws a lazy right hand but Durnin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Slugger checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Slugger was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Thorsen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Devlin pinned against the cage. Devlin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well Devlin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Curtis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stevie Wonder - Stay Gold.
