0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trev Ringland! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ringland shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts James as he jumps to the side. James throws a nice looking combination but Ringland bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ringland wants to clinch up but James keeps it at a distance. James misses the shot to the body. James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ringland fails with an attempt to clinch.
A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot. James swinging wildly here.
Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for Ringland on that attempt. James missing with a left hand there. Ringland was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. James connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ringland closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. James will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. James is nestled in close to Ringland, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. James lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ringland won't allow James to pass to mount.

James drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. James passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ringland! Bowhime leaves Bean with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. John Bowhime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowhime doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bean counters with a takedown into full mount! Shilt Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

State stacks River on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by State! State tries to advance to mount but River denies him. River looks to move to half guard but instead State has passed into mount! Damn! River is wriggling around trying to escape.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colt Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardin comes into the arena with Thunder Kiss '65 by White Zombie blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Turk's choice of entrance music: Y'all must've forgot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Hardin misses. Turk swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hardin jabs Turk right on the nose. Turk blinks but takes it well. Turk ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Turk moves away from the strike by Hardin. Hardin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turk throws out the jab. Turk stalks Hardin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hardin's face. Hardin staggers backwards, shaken. Turk jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hardin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
