With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christian Baratelli! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baratelli gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Eclaro takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Baratelli tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Eclaro avoids it. Eclaro pressing his opponent against the cage. Baratelli decides to pull guard. Baratelli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Eclaro defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eclaro scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eclaro is pushing down on Baratelli's leg trying to pass to half guard. Baratelli is fighting to maintain full guard but Eclaro has managed to sneak the leg through. Eclaro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baratelli's head. Eclaro tries to pass to full mount but Baratelli defends it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guvan lands a head kick. Mcflopperson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Guvan - that will leave a mark!
Mcflopperson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mcflopperson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guvan sees it coming and defends easily. Mcflopperson throwing shots but Guvan is blocking nicely. Guvan tries to kick Mcflopperson off but Mcflopperson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Mcflopperson drops an elbow to the side of Guvan's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mcflopperson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mcflopperson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schneider slaps away a takedown attempt from Cortez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cortez fails with a takedown attempt. Cortez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schneider swivels and escapes. Don Schneider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Cortez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Schneider sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A punch lands to the side of Cortez 's head but he takes it in his stride. It looks like Daniel Cortez has been cut. Schneider throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Schneider looks to throw the jab but Cortez is out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cortez moves forwards but Schneider connects with a nice, crisp jab. Cortez is rocked! Schneider is stalking Cortez. Cortez circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Schneider, and it's lights out! Cortez really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Al Zubairi. Al Zubairi misses the shot to the body. BarnBurner throws out a counter right but Al Zubairi avoids it with no problem. Al Zubairi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. BarnBurner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. BarnBurner has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Al Zubairi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with BarnBurner but BarnBurner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
