The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valla feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Simon manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Simon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Valla to the ground. Simon is now in Valla's guard.
Simon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Valla trying to keep a closed guard but Simon is proving a slippery customer.
Valla is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Cuntaga darts in and clinches Buakaw up against the cage.

Buakaw manages to break the clinch.

Cuntaga is backing up but Buakaw catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Cuntaga covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Buakaw Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Christ bounces back off the cage towards Solo, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Solo lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Solo celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
