The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCork throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCork throws a jab but it's blocked by Bond.
Bond lands with a shot to the body.
Bond uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McCork.
McCork throws a body punch but Bond moves out of range.
McCork jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McCork throws out a loose jab but Bond uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bond doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
McCork scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McCork throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bond cracks McCork with an open hand slap.

McCork has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Oh McCork is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCork misses with a left hand
and Bond rattles McCork with a well-timed uppercut counter. - McCork tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Bond dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving McCork stiff and motionless on the mat!
