The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.

and Murray counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

enabling Murray to counter with a crisp jab.
Micah Murray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Silva.
Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Murray to score with a decent uppercut.

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Murray defends it well.
Murray is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

Murray is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Silva has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Murray has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Silva taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Murray doesn't care though - he's delighted!
