The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King forces KillsInWater back against the cage and clinches.
King blocks a punch to the side of the head.

King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
KillsInWater goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
King throws a head kick but KillsInWater moves out of range.
King throws a head kick that misses.
King scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
King lands a glancing blow to the side of KillsInWater's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

KillsInWater has closed the distance and engaged King in a clinch.

King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
KillsInWater misses with a few strikes there.
King tries to clinch but fails miserably

King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. KillsInWater defends it easily.
KillsInWater sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed King's guard.

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Owen Savage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akamu throws a left and a right that both miss
and Savage counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Akamu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Savage counters with a thumping low kick.
Savage throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Akamu is breathing heavily.

Savage feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Akamu sprawling to the canvas! Akamu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Savage finish him?!
It looks like John Akamu has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savage looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Savage moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Akamu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Forge 👊 in the buildup to the fight.
Savage misses the shot to the body.
Savage avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Savage.
Savage lands a big head kick that sends Akamu to the canvas! Savage follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Owen Savage!
An intense looking Owen Savage took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: '"Bobby boy," Owen goes cage side, bends Bob Slay over and spanks that ass. "You're soft like charmen toilet paper you insufferable euro-twink. Report this to your daddy Mike you pussy."'.
John Akamu was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
