Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Exotic Winner (ranked 4892 p4p, 24627 weight class) and TJ Stuber (ranked 349 p4p, 394 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Exotic Winner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, TJ Stuber! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stuber darts in looking for a takedown but Winner gets double underhooks and turns Stuber into the cage. Winner darts in looking for a takedown but Stuber gets double underhooks and turns Winner into the cage. Stuber gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Winner is looking to get back to is feet but Stuber passes into side control.

Stuber working for a guillotine from mount but Winner is in no mood to give up. Winner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stuber jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Winner manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stuber landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stuber decides to take the fight back to the feet. Stuber keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stuber shoots for a double leg takedown but Winner sprawls well. He's pushed Stuber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Winner tries to clinch but Stuber moves out of range. Stuber takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Winner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stubers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Winner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stuber is trying to defend but Winner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stuber controlling the position for now. Winner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Stuber manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Stuber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stuber looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stuber keeping moving, preventing Winner from controlling successfully. Winner won't allow Stuber to sweep him here.

Winner stands up over Stuber, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stuber looking to hit a scissor sweep but Winner is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stuber working for submissions but it's allowed Winner to get to half guard.
Stuber looks winded! Stuber is staying active underneath Winner, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Winner sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stuber defending well though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Winner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Stuber controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Stuber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Winner looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stuber stands up from Winner's guard - Stuber perhaps looking for a knockout. Exotic Winner is winning the standup battle so far.

Stuber acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Winner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stuber did well to prevent Winner getting side control. Stuber manages to escape and get back to his feet! Winner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Exotic Winner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stuber shoots in and gets a takedown into Winner's guard. Winner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stuber on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stuber connects with a couple of short punches. Winner wants to hit a sweep here but Stuber passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Winner there!

TJ Stuber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Stuber shoots in looking for a takedown but Winner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stuber's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Winner has closed the distance and engaged Stuber in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stuber slaps away a takedown attempt from Winner, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stuber throws a push kick but Winner slaps the foot to one side. A little feinted left hand from Winner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Winner scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Winner tries for a takedown but Stuber sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Exotic Winner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Stuber scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Winner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stuber swivels and escapes. Stuber shoots in and bounces Winner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stuber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Stuber closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. TJ Stuber has got the better of the ground game so far. Stuber working the body and head with strikes. Winner is trying to control Stuber's posture but Stuber avoids it. Winner wants to get back to his feet but Stuber drags him back down. Stuber stands up and beckons Winner to his feet.

Stuber manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Stuber is defending well against a takedown attempt. Stuber is trying to drag Winner to the mat but Winner just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Winner gets control of Stuber's arms and successfully pulls guard. Winner will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuber is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Stuber pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Winner is keeping the position for now. Stuber with a flurry of punches that miss. Stuber's corner is telling him to maintain position. Stuber is continuing to stall. Stuber pushing down on Winner's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jones throws an off balance right hand
and Peace decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard. Peace tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Peace trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Peace trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Peace has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Peace's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peace can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.

Peace is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A short left from Intervention. I was talking to Intervention's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Intervention lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Intervention creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Intervention swings wildly with an uppercut but Unimanus uses good head movement to avoid it. Intervention throws a head punch that misses. Intervention gets through Unimanus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Unimanus told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Intervention lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Unimanus to his knees! Intervention keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones is looking to clinch but Kid is avoiding it.
Waylon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones rushes Kid and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kid lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kid pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Jones feinted with a counter takedown. Kid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones moves into range and clinches up with Kid. Jones can't get the takedown.
Kid has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones chips away with some ground and pound. Kid bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jones scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kid tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kid tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Kid looks like he's trying to stand up.

Parisyen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Parisyen misses with an uppercut. Parisyen tries a low kick but Fischer avoids it. Parisyen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Parisyen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Dennis Fischer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Field looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A big right from Zvezda misses. Field throws out a counter right but Zvezda avoids it with no problem. Zvezda definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Field moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
