 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers misses the jab. Daniels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rogers throws out the jab. Rogers lands a really nice looking cross but Daniels seems unphased.
Daniels fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rogers checks it well. Daniels misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rogers.
Daniels tries to clinch but Rogers is having none of it. Daniels misses with a head kick.
Good exchange - Daniels coming out on top. Daniels misses with an uppercut.
Rogers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daniels looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shinobi thows a body shot but no joy. Alberto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Shinobi thows a body kick. Alberto tries to catch it but that hurt him. Alberto is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shinobi jabs at Alberto's body. Shinobi with a body punch. A glancing blow.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rayner blocks a jab. Penn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rayner. Rayner throws out a loose jab but Penn uses good head movement to avoid it. Penn just misses with a punch to the body.
Penn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rayner's calf. Penn scoring well with a low kick there.

Rayner thows a leg kick but Penn checks it and Penn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rayner moves out of range of the body kick from Penn.

and Penn counters with a right hand to the body. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rayner. Rayner has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Rayner throws a leg kick but Penn checks it. Rayner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Rayner takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Rayner misses with a hook to the body
and Penn counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rayner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Penn tries to avoid it but Rayner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Penn to the ground. Penn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. BJ Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jethro Rayner. Rayner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Penn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rayner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Rayner counters with a shoot takedown. Penn fights it but they end up in guard. Rayner trying to control but Penn is working from the bottom. Rayner preventing the sweep. Rayner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Penn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Penn wants to stand up but Rayner is controlling him. Rayner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rayner is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rayner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Penn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rayner has Penn in his guard. Rayner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

 The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rayner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Penn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Penn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Penn won't allow Rayner to sweep him here. Rayner is looking to sweep but instead, Penn has passed into half guard.

Penn stands up from half guard. Rayner throws a leg kick that is checked letting Penn counter with a right hand. Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rayner throws a nice looking combination but Penn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Penn thuds his right hand into Rayner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. BJ Penn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rayner's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Penn misses with a low kick.

and Penn counters with a nice uppercut. Penn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rayner. That did some damage! Jethro Rayner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Penn cracks the inside of Rayner's front leg. A low kick from Penn misses
and Rayner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Penn's guard. Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rayner wants to pass the guard but Penn is keeping the position. Rayner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Jethro Rayner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Penn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sole displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Kafka is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sole. Sole is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sole scores with a body shot.
Sole throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kafka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kafka waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sole. Kafka moves out of range as Sole strikes. Kafka avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sole tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kafka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sole somewhat. Sole lands a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kafka defending well as Sole loads up on a big left hand. Sole lands an overhand right. Sole throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kafka sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kafka walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sole loads up on a big right hand but Kafka slips the punch. Sole swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sole cracks Kafka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kafka avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sole closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sole lands in his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kafka is on top in guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kafka trying to control the position from guard on top but Sole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kafka is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sole is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sole trying to keep a closed guard but Kafka is proving a slippery customer.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sole looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kafka is fighting to break Sole's control of his arms but Sole is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kafka postures up.
Kafka looking to sit in guard and control but Sole gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sole accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sole swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kafka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kafka turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sole throws an overhand right that lands on Kafka's shoulder, as Kafka tries to avoid the shot. Sole keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kafka. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Kafka slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kafka wants to control from the top but Sole keeps moving. Sole trying to keep a closed guard but Kafka is proving a slippery customer.

Sole scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A combination from Sole does no damage. Kafka lands with a nice body punch. Kafka lunges at Sole with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sole's hand. Kafka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kafka connects with the punch. Nice sprawl there from Kafka as Sole shoots in. Kafka lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nice body punch from Kafka. Kafka jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Kafka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Donk. Kafka catches Sole right on the button with a cross. Kafka connects with a body shot. Kafka sizes up Sole with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sole takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A chopping leg kick lands by Kafka. Kafka lands a slapping body shot.
Kafka connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Sole has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sole drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sole takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kafka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sole on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

BOOM! Kafka lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sole. Sole tries to recover but Kafka is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sole lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Cane as Vandrel shoots in. Vandrel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cane circles away quickly and effectively. Cane misses with a looping left. Vandrel tries to clinch up but Cane circles away and keeps his distance. Cane misses with a looping right. Vandrel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cane avoids it really well and circles away. Cane throws a looping overhand right but Vandrel ducks down to avoid it. Vandrel throws a leg kick which misses Cane's front leg but catches the back leg as Cane tries to avoid it. Vandrel throws out a loose jab but Cane uses good head movement to avoid it. Cane checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vandrel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A combination from Vandrel does no damage. Cane throws a hook but Vandrel blocks it.  Vandrel is rocked! Seth Vandrel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cane takes a jab right on the kisser.

Vandrel slips a straight right by Cane. Cane throws a hook but Vandrel avoids it easily. Cane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vandrel. Cane misses with a hook. Cane just misses with a punch to the body.

Vandrel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vandrel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cane wants to hold on but Vandrel pushes him away. Cane is in all sorts of trouble here.
Cane is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cane wants to control but Vandrel is having none of it. Cane in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Vandrel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Vandrel thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Vandrel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Cane is squirming around, avoiding Vandrel's attempts to control the action. Cane is trying desperately to improve position. Vandrel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vandrel throws a wild left hand from mount and Cane manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Seth Vandrel will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Seth Vandrel's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big left from Cane misses. Cane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vandrel momentarily.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cane. Cane might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Vandrel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vandrel tries to pass to full mount but Cane defends it.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Vandrel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cane. Vandrel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cane throws a body punch but Vandrel moves out of range. Cane misses with an uppercut. Vandrel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cane is breathing heavily.
