With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dallas Winston! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winston swats away the attempt to clinch by Mordin. Winston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mordin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Winston, pushing him back against the cage. Mordin throws an elbow but it misses.
Winston breaks from the clinch.
Mordin throws a right hand that Winston ducks under and follows up with a left that Winston also avoids with ease. Winston scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mordin doesn't seem bothered though. Mordin wants to clinch. Mordin tries to clinch up. Winston looks like he wants to counter punch here. Mordin is looking to clinch but Winston is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winston connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Winston jabs Mordin right on the nose. Mordin blinks but takes it well. Mordin tries to clinch but Winston moves out of range. Winston moves into range and connects with a jab. The fighters circling - Winston throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Spinner. Those never looked like landing. Ramirez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spinner paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ramirez tries to clinch up but Spinner circles away and keeps his distance. Spinner throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ramirez moves to clinch but Spinner breaks away and Spinner counters with a lovely shot to the body. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Randall Dean! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dean lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Warner moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Warner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Warner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dean is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Warner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working. Dean gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dean is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Warner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dean lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warner is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Dean pushes down on Warner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Warner throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dean seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Warner flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dean frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dean trying to control but Warner is having none of it. Warner is in all sorts of trouble here.

Dean can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warner is looking to escape. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Warner tries to hold on but Dean pushes him away. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dean trying to control but Warner is having none of it. We've been informed that Dean has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Dean takes Warner's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.

Dean controls the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dean is not going to allow Warner to sit and survive in this position. Dean slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Warner shoots in looking for a takedown but Dean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Warner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Warner darts in looking for a takedown but Dean gets double underhooks and turns Warner into the cage. Warner misses with a punch on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Warner - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Dean lands a nice hook to Warner's body. Warner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Warner seems to have got his legs back now. Dean is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Warner rather than just go for the knockout. Dean misses with a body shot.

Randall Dean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Warner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Warner gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dean gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Warner is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawson lands with an uppercut that bounces Doumergos off the cage and back into range. Dawson stuffs the takedown. Doumergos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dawson keeps working. Doumergos is trying to land an Americana. Doumergos really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuisse misses with a takedown attempt - Carter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Carter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Carter closes the distance and pushes Fuisse back into the cage. Carter lands with a right to the head. Fuisse's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Carter lands a body shot in the clinch.
Carter lands a hook to the side of the head. Carter struggles to land a body shot inside as Fuisse controls his hands.
Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fuisse looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carter is fending him off so far but Fuisse persists. Nope, Carter circles away and we're back to standing. We've been hearing reports that Fuisse has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Carter misses with a looping left. Carter gets a clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Carter. A short right from Carter. Carter keeps control of Fuisse as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Carter lands with a short head shot on the inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carter lands a right hand. Carter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Carter digs a right hand into Fuisse's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fuisse's gas tank.

Carter pushes Fuisse back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Oh Fuisse is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Carter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fuisse with a big uppercut! Fuisse tries to clinch up but Carter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fuisse to the mat! Fuisse covers up and Carter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Alvarez lands a head shot. Alvarez scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Alvarez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Adams momentarily.
Adams tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Alvarez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A looping hook to the body misses from Alvarez. Adams does a little dance to reset his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvarez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Adams s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A lazy left from Alvarez finds it's target.

Alvarez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Adams . Adams circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Adams takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Alvarez scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Alvarez looks to land a left hand but Adams moved out of range nicely. Adams changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Alvarez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

As Alvarez tries to get set, Adams tries to push him back and clinch up but Alvarez manages to avoid the attempt. Adams moves forwards but Alvarez connects with a nice, crisp jab. Adams keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Alvarez works a leg free and moves into half guard. Adams actively working from the bottom here. Alvarez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adams keeps working. Alvarez prevents Adams from improving his position. Alvarez is looking to take a break and control but Adams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alvarez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alvarez's back! Adams seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Adams is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Alvarez knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Alvarez for a finish. Adams looking for the choke from the back. Alvarez manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Alvarez to score with a decent uppercut. Adams acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Alvarez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Alvarez finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
