Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Ganozri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Egor Kuznetsov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuznetsov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ganozri has his takedown stuffed and Kuznetsov counters with a lovely straight right hand! It looks like Mo Ganozri has been cut. Kuznetsov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ganozri shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kuznetsov's guard. Ganozri wants to pass the guard but Kuznetsov is keeping the position. Ganozri chips away with some ground and pound. Ganozri stops Kuznetsov from standing up. Kuznetsov pulls Ganozri in close to his closed guard and prevents Ganozri from doing any damage or advancing position. Ganozri wants to pass the guard but Kuznetsov is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuznetsov has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ganozri has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ganozri is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kuznetsov to keep the fight standing.

Kuznetsov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Ganozri. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuznetsov can't break the clinch.

Kuznetsov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ganozri. Ganozri has been working on his balance at Cozad MMA Montreal, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Kuznetsov. Kuznetsov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ganozri knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuznetsov on the ground. Kuznetsov wants to stand and escape but Ganozri is having none of it. Ganozri trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kuznetsov pushes Ganozri off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kuznetsov lands with a nice combination. Ganozri backs away looking to recover. Kuznetsov has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Kuznetsov lands with a right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kuznetsov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kuznetsov connects with a single shot there. Mo Ganozri's cut is getting worse. Ganozri takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kuznetsov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ganozri eats them both and turns towards Kuznetsov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ganozri is rocked! Mo Ganozri's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Ganozri doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kuznetsov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A jab-cross combination lands for Kuznetsov and sends Ganozri crashing to the mat! Kuznetsov follows him down to the mat - Ganozri regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! Oh Ganozri is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jeez, Mo Ganozri's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kuznetsov stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ganozri to get to his feet. A big right followed by a crushing left from Kuznetsov knocks Ganozri out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

After the fight, Egor Kuznetsov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
