The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simba throws a lazy right hand but Weaver sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Simba. That's going to slow Weaver down.
Simba swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Weaver.
Simba moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Weaver. Simba does a little dance to reset his feet.

Weaver has hold of Simba's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Simba tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Weaver cranks the arm and Simba screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Simba, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The fighters circle momentarily. Gunnarsson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Dong Hyun Kim has been cut.
Gunnarsson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kim shoots in looking for a takedown but Gunnarsson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

I think Supko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mój Świat. Knight comes into a darkened arena with his song building. March Or Die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
