It seemed like Asby was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Asby tries to bum rush Knightley with a series of wild strikes but Knightley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Asby lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Knightley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knightley lands with a nice body punch.
A slow jab from Knightley misses its intended target.
Knightley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Knightley throws a chopping leg kick but Asby manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Knightley throws a solid leg kick but Asby takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Knightley.

and Asby counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Asby looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fighters circling - Knightley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Knightley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Asby manages to avoid it.
Asby unleashes a big counter combination but Knightley bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Asby might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Knightley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Asby. That did some damage!
Asby rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knightley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knightley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Asby cracks Knightley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Asby has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Knightley to stand back up!

Asby takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Asby checks a leg kick.
Knightley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice straight punches there by Knightley. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Knightley.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Knightley swings for the body but Asby moves out of range.
Asby swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bennett Knightley is winning the standup battle so far.
Knightley lands with a kick to the temple. Asby shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Knightley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Asby can do to turn this around?
Asby bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Knightley's head.
Knightley misses with a hook. Asby ducked under it nicely.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Asby might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Knightley has got the better of the exchanges.

Asby misses with an uppercut. Knightley saw that one coming.
Knightley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Asby under the eye.

Knightley has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

and Asby makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Asby feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knightley sprawling to the canvas! Knightley rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Asby finish him?!
Knightley is rocked!
Knightley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A little jabbing left from Asby on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Oh Knightley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Asby looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Knightley seems to have got his legs back now.
Asby gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Knightley.

Knightley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Asby doesn't seem bothered though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Asby throws a shot from downtown. Knightley moves away and avoids it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Knightley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Asby has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Asby and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Asby has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Knightley.

Asby's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Knightley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Asby takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Knightley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Knightley tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Asby closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Knightley! Asby dives in looking to finish! Knightley is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
