The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urie shoots in looking for a takedown but Shibata manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Urie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Shibata has his takedown stuffed

and Urie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Urie.
Shibata lands with a light punch inside.
Shibata is pushing Urie up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Urie is trying to push Shibata away but Shibata has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Shibata breaks the clinch.

Shibata closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Urie throws Shibata to one side and escapes!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shibata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Urie scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Shibata manages to mount him!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ashbrock throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Zolghadr stumbling backwards into the cage! Zolghadr bounces back off the cage towards Ashbrock, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Ashbrock lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Ashbrock celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Arbeloa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cock Felt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cock Felt has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Arbeloa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cock Felt has tightened it up now! Arbeloa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
