The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacnChee lands a left and a right that send Ellis crashing to the mat, dazed. MacnChee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ellis wants to clinch up but MacnChee keeps it at a distance.

MacnChee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marreta looking to score a takedown here. Shrute is defending well but Marreta drives through and ends up in Shrute's guard.
Shrute looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Shrute is working an open guard so Marreta takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Marreta counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Shrute off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Marreta follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Shrute was out before he hit the floor.

In his post fight interview, Boby Marreta started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Daugherty displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zackrinsen.

Daugherty lands a big uppercut and Zackrinsen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zackrinsen looks OK. Daugherty waves Zackrinsen back to his feet!
It looks like Berra Zackrinsen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daugherty finds Zackrinsen's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Zackrinsen flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Daugherty lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Zackrinsen will be OK.

Yomero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fry was covering up waiting for the punch and Yomero finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fry is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Yomero dives into side control.


Yomero has hold of Fry's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fry tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Yomero cranks the arm and Fry screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fry, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Red Crow opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Oliva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Breaker cranks the arm and Oliva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Oliva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
