Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerald Outlaw (ranked 3755 p4p, 3756 weight class) and Luka Alstrup (ranked 0 p4p, 392 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alstrup blocks a jab.
It seemed like Alstrup was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Outlaw missing with a left hand there. Alstrup was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Outlaw misses with a hook
and Alstrup cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Outlaw lands a big uppercut and Alstrup crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alstrup looks OK. Outlaw waves Alstrup back to his feet!
It looks like Luka Alstrup has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alstrup leaves his chin hanging out and Outlaw seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Alstrup crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Herzing wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ashbrock, who protects the arm well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ashbrock wants to get up but he can't break Herzing's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Herzing manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ashbrock manages to get himself to full guard.

Ashbrock is looking to stand up but Herzing isn't so interested in that idea.
