With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charlie Hubley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JB Penn! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hubley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Penn trying to control but Hubley postures up.
Penn is trying to stand up here but Hubley is controlling him well. Hubley is thwarting Penn's attempts to control the position. Hubley not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn tries to roll over but Hubley keeps him under control. Hubley stalling. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Baker throws some wild stikes that Bubmeister manages to avoid easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fry seems a little lost for a moment, as Pearce dominates the positioning. Fry is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pearce creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fry is looking to regain half guard here but Pearce keeps moving and retains side control. Pearce taking a breather here. Pearce stands up and we're back to a striking position. Nice takedown defense from Pearce. No joy for Fry on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grayson Fry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pearce looks to land a combination but Fry avoids it well. Pearce misses with a takedown attempt - Fry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fry wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fry fails with a takedown attempt. Fry backing away here, and Pearce unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Fry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pearce throws a sloppy head kick and Fry moves out of range easily. Pearce looking to score a takedown here. Fry is defending well but Pearce drives through and ends up in Fry's guard. Fry is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Pearce dives into side control.

And that's the end of the fight! Aiden Pearce comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pearce has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
