The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Makhegov has closed the distance and engaged Francor in a clinch.
Francor fails to pull guard.

Francor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Makhegov stuffs the takedown attempt from Francor. Francor gets slowly back to his feet.
Francor lands a two punch combo.
Makhegov shoots in looking for a takedown but Francor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Makhegov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Francor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Makhegov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Makhegov has hold of Francor's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Francor tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Makhegov cranks the arm and Francor screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Francor, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Rettslag smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Okura is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Okura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rettslag sprawls well. Rettslag wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Okura gets slowly back to his feet.

Nanai cracks Kosar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kosar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nanai finish him?
It looks like Pavo Kosar has been cut.
Nanai tries to clinch but Kosar is having none of it.
Kosar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A little feinted left hand from Kosar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kosar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nanai manages to avoid it.

and Nanai takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nanai throws out a loose jab but Kosar uses good head movement to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Piotr clobbers Verse with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Piotr tries to bum rush Verse with a series of wild strikes but Verse uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Piotr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Verse doesn't seem bothered though.
Verse takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Piotr connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Verse momentarily.

Piotr cracks Verse with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
