Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rutbane Blight (ranked 1925 p4p, 2799 weight class) and Johel Yomero (ranked 238 p4p, 327 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blight might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tom MacDonald - "sheeple". The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Johel Yomero decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Onana tries a quick counter leg kick but Kowalczyk is wise to it.
Nice uppercut lands for Kowalczyk. That snapped Onana's head back.
A nice leg kick from Onana, right into the meat of the thigh.

Onana takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kowalczyk drops his hands momentarily and Onana takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Onana swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Onana takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kowalczyk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Onana throws out a counter right but Kowalczyk avoids it with no problem.
A solid leg kick lands there for Onana.
Kowalczyk paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kowalczyk throws an off balance right hand
and Onana counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kowalczyk thuds a left hand into Onana's body.
Jeffery Onana is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Jeffery Onana comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

A relieved looking Jeffery Onana thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Nikodem Kowalczyk spoke after the fight, saying 'Hey Jeffery, thanks for the fight. If I couldn't beat you today, I'll never catch up to you. It's time for a changing of the guard. Today's performance showed that you have everything it takes to hold onto that belt for a long time. Good luck in your career, your time has come!'.
