Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Vaughan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sami Juntunen! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juntunen throws a right and a left that both miss. Vaughan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big right from Juntunen misses. No luck for Vaughan with that takedown attempt. Vaughan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Juntunen napping and manages to drive through into side control! Juntunen holding on. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Juntunen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Juntunen drops back looking for a leg! Vaughan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vaughan manages to kick Juntunen off! Juntunen jumps back into Vaughan's guard. Vaughan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Juntunen regains full guard. Nicely done. Vaughan trying to control the position from guard on top but Juntunen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Juntunen pulls Vaughan in close to his closed guard and prevents Vaughan from doing any damage or advancing position. Let's hope that Juntunen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Vaughan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Juntunen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vaughan's guard. Vaughan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Vaughan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Vaughan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Juntunen wants to stand but Vaughan is controlling the position. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Juntunen connects with a solid leg kick. Vaughan dives in for a single leg takedown but Juntunen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vaughan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Juntunen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Juntunen. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindsey moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off. Lindsey on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Walker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Lindsey manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lindsey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Walker is sitting in close to Lindsey's body. Lindsey has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Walker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Walker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lindsey.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cliveira moves to clinch but Mountainjoki breaks away and Mountainjoki counters with a straight right hand. Cliveira shoots in looking for a takedown but Mountainjoki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cliveira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. He thinks about going to the ground but Cliveira looks back up at him and smiles so Mountainjoki waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
