The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Messi slips under a jab. Jackson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Messi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Messi showed some decent athleticism there. Messi not landing any meaningful shots this time. Messi lands with a punch from half guard. And that's the end of the fight! Duane Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Messi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Deathcrush takes a swing at Elmars's ribcage but misses. Elmars tries to counter by clinching up but Deathcrush breaks away and moves out of range. Deathcrush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Elmars napping and manages to drive through into side control! Elmars stops Deathcrush from passing to mount. Deathcrush fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Orochi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Makagziadan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Makagziadan's coach down at Gold Samurai\'s Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Makagziadan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Orochi looks to throw the jab but Makagziadan is out of range. Makagziadan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Orochi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ugrapurod Makagziadan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orochi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Makagziadan throws a hook to the side of Orochi's head but Orochi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Makagziadan tests Orochi's chin there with a solid looking shot. Orochi defending well as Makagziadan loads up on a big left hand. Orochi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Orochi just misses with a punch to the body.
Orochi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. It looked like Orochi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Orochi misses with a left hand and Makagziadan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jab, jab by Makagziadan - just one landing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Makagziadan moves away from the strike by Orochi. A big left from Orochi misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makagziadan misses with a straight left. Makagziadan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Orochi gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Makagziadan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Amir throws a series of punches but Koivupuunoksa avoids them all with ease. Koivupuunoksa let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Amir tries to bum rush Koivupuunoksa with a series of wild strikes but Koivupuunoksa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It seemed like Koivupuunoksa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Koivupuunoksa clobbers Amir with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. Amir is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Koivupuunoksa is trying to maintain the position but Amir is very close to passing his half guard. Rocha swats away the attempt to clinch by Pulaski. A nice inside leg kick there by Rocha. That's going to slow Pulaski down. Rocha fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
