McCarthy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ford slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. McCarthy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ford to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McCarthy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ford pulls down on the head and he's put McCarthy to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Svensson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Puffer works Svensson's body with a nice hook. Svensson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Puffer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Svensson. Puffer shrugs it off though. Svensson keeps Puffer at a distance using the push kick. Puffer avoids the body shot from Svensson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odom Hunt tests Wagner's chin there with a solid looking shot. It looks like Hanz Wagner has been cut. Wagner tries for a takedown but Odom Hunt circles away easily enabling Odom Hunt to counter with a crisp jab. Wagner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Odom Hunt counters with a stiff right hand. Odom Hunt cracks Wagner with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Black misses with a left hand and Southpaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Southpaw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black. A big right from Southpaw misses. A little jabbing left from Black on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Black looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Black misses with a left hand enabling Southpaw to counter with a crisp jab. Southpaw throws a leg kick that is checked and Black connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Southpaw slips a straight right by Black. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Southpaw scores with a decent looking hook. Seventoe Southpaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Southpaw connects with a body shot. Black uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Black lands a nice shot that snaps Southpaw's head back.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Black checks a leg kick. It seemed like Black was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Black throws a hook to the side of Southpaw's head but Southpaw sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Southpaw with a nice calf kick. Good shot there by Southpaw. and Black connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Black lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Southpaw is rocked! He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vellitis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Norton bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vellitis's head. Norton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vellitis shoots in for a takedown but Norton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Norton connects with a body shot. Norton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Vellitis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Vellitis taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Midget Mode Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kin Kon! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kon connects with a nice looking jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Kon lands a shoulder strike. Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kon is defending well. Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Kon scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kon lands a nice elbow. Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kon just stands there and leans against the cage. Kon lands an elbow that stopped Jones in his tracks for a moment. Jones is rocked! It looks like Midget Mode Jones has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Kon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Midget Mode Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kon lands with a right to the head. Jones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kon lands a body punch. Jones seems to have got his legs back now. Jones tries to keep at a distance but Kon has taken the fight into the clinch. Kon scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kon lands a vicious elbow to the side of Jones's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Kon tries to finish him with strikes but Jones still seems able to defend himself so Kon steps back and lets Jones get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
