The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around JR's waist but JR gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ma off to one side.

JR moves into the clinch successfully.
Ma stops a takedown attempt from JR.
Ma is trying to work for a single leg takedown but JR pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ma is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Chase has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Chase defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nutz.

Chase lands a big right hand that sends Nutz crashing to the mat! Chase stays standing though and waves Nutz back to his feet!

Chase is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
BOOM! Chase lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nutz. Nutz tries to recover but Chase is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nutz lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Tristan Zigaro tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
