With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Dexter Mallin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Chase! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chase takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Danny Chase has been cut. We've been told by Mallin's head coaches at Point Blanc that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Mallin is looking to clinch but Chase is avoiding it.
Chase lands with a good body shot. Chase shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mallin is trying to defend but Chase finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mallin wants to get back to full guard. Mallin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chase on the ground. Chase thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mallin's head. Chase lands strikes from half guard. Chase thows a huge punch but Mallin dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chase winds up and cracks Mallin with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mallin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chase scores with a couple of nice shots. Chase lands strikes from half guard. Mallin trying to control from the bottom.
Chase throwing shots but Mallin is blocking nicely. Chase working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Chase has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chase lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mallin quite badly. Mallin pulls Chase in close trying to recover. Chase postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mallin on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mallin doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blaze Cunningham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mateus Nunes! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cunningham dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nunes. That did some damage! Crunch! Nunes slams his shin into Cunningham's torso. Cunningham uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nunes. Nunes lands a nice looking body kick. Cunningham throws a right hand that Nunes ducks under and follows up with a left that Nunes also avoids with ease. Cunningham fails to land with a series of punches.
Cunningham stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nunes. Nunes defending well as Cunningham loads up on a big left hand. Nunes with the inside leg kick. Nunes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cunningham eats them both and turns towards Nunes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Nunes scores with a hook to the body. Cunningham takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nunes lands a leg kick that knocks Cunningham off balance momentarily. Nunes tries a head kick but it misses.
Cunningham appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Nunes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nunes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nunes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Both fighters circling a little - Nunes finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A right-left combo lands from Nunes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cunningham throws a leg kick which misses Nunes's front leg but catches the back leg as Nunes tries to avoid it. Cunningham takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cunningham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A solid leg kick lands there for Nunes.
Nunes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Nunes misses with an uppercut. A good leg kick by Nunes. Nunes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Nunes with the inside leg kick. Decent striking displayed by Cunningham there. Nunes takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cunningham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nunes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mateus Nunes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice cross by Nunes. Nunes throws a right and a left that Cunningham avoids nicely. Nunes pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cunningham throws a series of punches but Nunes avoids them all with ease. Nunes slips a straight right by Cunningham. Cunningham cracks Nunes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Cunningham lands a head shot. Nunes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cunningham's head. Nunes moves out of range as Cunningham strikes. Nunes throws a quick inside leg kick. Nunes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nunes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Cunningham throws a hook to the side of Nunes's head but Nunes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cunningham is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cunningham crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nunes - the referee stops the clock and Cunningham gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nunes. Cunningham manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A looping hook to the body misses from Cunningham. Nunes does a little dance to reset his feet. Nunes throws out a counter right but Cunningham avoids it with no problem. Nunes scores with a head kick. Cunningham tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Cunningham throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nunes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nunes scores with a jab. Nunes scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cunningham throws a looping overhand right but Nunes ducks down to avoid it. Nunes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cunningham's head. Nunes staying out of range there. Nunes throws a counter combo. Cunningham on the wrong end of a nice jab. Nunes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cunninghams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nunes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cunningham is rocked! Cunningham pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Oh Cunningham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nunes feints a jab and as Cunningham dips his head, Nunes unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Cunningham right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Cunningham falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Nunes smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ahola stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Simons goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. It looks like Jouka Ahola has been cut. Simons is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Simons shuts the power down on Ahola. Lights out, game over! Simons is your winner.

With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristan Zigaro! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kramer slips under a jab from Zigaro. Zigaro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kramer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Zigaro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kramer half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Zigaro misses with a kick to the body and Kramer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Zigaro has control of Kramer's left arm, preventing Kramer from doing any damage. Kramer stands and throws Zigaro's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kramer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Zigaro tries to get back to half guard but can't. A very excited looking Tristan Zigaro rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Carter (ranked 199 p4p, 763 weight class) and Leroy Brewer (ranked 21 p4p, 98 weight class). Carter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is “Shipping up to Boston” Dropkick Murphy’s. Leroy Brewer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Carter thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brewer to his feet! Brewer is in big trouble! Brewer is rocked! Brewer moves out of range of the body kick from Carter.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brewer! But no joy. Brewer is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him? Carter misses with a few strikes there.
