Jones lands a slapping body shot.
James walks into a left hand.
James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones misses the jab.
Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles James. James circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Jones misses with a straight right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Wallaby holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Yakuza is looking to work some ground and pound but Wallaby has wrist control.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Yakuza's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
It looks like Ryan Wallaby has been cut.

Wallaby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Yakuza got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wallaby has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yakuza has managed to get both his arms back between Wallaby's legs - danger averted.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sleon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sleon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rivers darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Sleon's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rivers before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Wanjiku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ramos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schlepper sprawling to the canvas! Schlepper rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ramos finish him?!
It looks like Huug Schlepper has been cut.
Ramos throws a hook but Schlepper blocks it.
Ramos just misses with a punch to the body.

Schlepper closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ramos to the mat! Ramos manages to get full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ramos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
