With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lothar Brackmathus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Picote! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brackmathus. Picote feints the counter takedown. Picote keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Brackmathus goes for a double leg but Picote avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Picote continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lothar Brackmathus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Picote is looking to take this one to the mat. Picote changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brackmathus fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Brackmathus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Picote defends well and Brackmathus ends up having to push Picote into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Picote has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brackmathus after a bit of a struggle. Brackmathus prevents a takedown attempt there.

Brackmathus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Picote avoids it really well and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Picote as Brackmathus shoots in. Picote shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Brackmathus gets full guard. Picote won't allow Brackmathus to sweep him here. Brackmathus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Picote can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Picote trying to control the position from guard on top but Brackmathus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Picote must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Brackmathus is trying to control the position but Picote postures up. Brackmathus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Picote tries to free his leg and advance position but Brackmathus is retaining full guard. Picote wants to control from the top but Brackmathus keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brackmathus wants to control but Picote passes easily into half guard.

With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Uso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cornbread Pealike! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pealike shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Uso eats them both and turns towards Pealike to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. It looks like Jimmy Uso has been cut. Pealike lands a jab to Uso's midsection. Pealike wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pealike throws a leg kick which misses Uso's front leg but catches the back leg as Uso tries to avoid it. The fight stays on the outside here - Uso looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pealike lands a slapping body shot.

Pealike throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Usos head. Pealike creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Uso's defenses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice elbow from Pealike. Pealike lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Pealike lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Uso backwards. Pealike blocks a punch to the side of the head.

We've been hearing reports that Uso has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Pealike scores with a shot to the side of Uso's head. A short right from Pealike on the inside. Pealike lands a nice knee to the body. Pealike lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Uso backwards. Uso is rocked! Pealike gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Oh Uso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pealike creates a bit of distance and unloads a huge uppercut that knocks Uso out cold! The ref dives in to break up the two fighters! The fight is over!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gabriel connects with a nice short shot to Igor's temple. Gabriel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Igor is just riding it out for now. Gabriel eventually gives up the hold. Igor is defending against the submission attempts here by Gabriel.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gabriel is defended easily by Igor. Igor was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Igor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Chai looks to score with a jab to the body but Jenkins is just out of range. Chai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chai ducks under a wild hook from Jenkins. Chai sizes up Jenkins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jenkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jenkins throws a body shot but no joy. Jenkins throws a jab when Chai was well out of range. Jenkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Chai is just out of range. A big left from Chai misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Jenkins. Jenkins gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chai. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jenkins checks the leg kick.

and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jenkins catches Chai with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Chai throws a poor cross that misses
and Jenkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jenkins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A big left from Chai misses. Jenkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chai is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jenkins. Jenkins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chai sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chai throws a half hearted mid kick. Chai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jenkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jenkins misses the shot to the body. Chai half committed to a counter leg kick. Chai misses with a hook. Jenkins ducked under it nicely. Chai misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Jenkins might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chai has got the better of the exchanges. Chang throws a front kick aimed at Crap's knee but Crap avoids it well. Crap slips under a jab. Chang misses with a body shot.
