With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Guinness! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McFoy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Guinness pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McFoy back to the cage. Guinness follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. McFoy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Guinness.
McFoy moves into range and clinches up with Guinness. McFoy breaks the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McFoy misses with an elbow over the top. Madoc throws a body shot but no joy. Sitsongrit closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Madoc did well to prevent Sitsongrit getting side control. Madoc wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Sitsongrit is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Madoc taking some punishment here, with Sitsongrit in his half guard. Sitsongrit is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Madoc defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sitsongrit looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madoc keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sitsongrit working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sitsongrit missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sitsongrit working Madoc over with strikes. Madoc knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sitsongrit on the ground. Sitsongrit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Madoc doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sitsongrit. Madoc is trying to maintain the position but Sitsongrit is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Madoc is looking to control Sitsongrit's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Madoc avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sitsongrit with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blake's guard. Arima prevents Blake from improving his position. Blake preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Arima is thwarting Blake's attempts to control the position. Arima wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blake keeps working. Blake is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Blake obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Arima is rocked! Blake throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Arima's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Blake dives in looking to finish as Arima flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Blake's strikes! Blake is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Arima's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Arima was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

McGee throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Luckily it didn't land flush. Griggs wants to clinch up but McGee keeps it at a distance.
