With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ismael Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Cuervo! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos tries to clinch up but Cuervo circles away and keeps his distance. Santos moves out of range of the strikes. Cuervo misses with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cuervo. Santos does a little dance to reset his feet. Santos throws a big counter combination but Cuervo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Santos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cuervo. Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Cuervo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Santos throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cuervo. Cuervo gets caught napping as Santos dives in and scores a takedown. Cuervo manages to retain guard. Cuervo keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully. Our spies down at at Alpha Brasil inform us that Cuervo has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cuervo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Santos scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cuervo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cuervo is trying to keep Santos in close.

Santos doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cuervo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Cuervo misses the shot to the body. Santos drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jose Cuervo! A very excited looking Jose Cuervo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Bowen . A big left from Bowen misses. Bowen scores with a nice body kick.

Bowen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Unbelivable was well out of range. Poor timing from Bowen . Bowen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Unbelivable moves away. Unbelivable takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. It looks like Usko Unbelivable has been cut. Unbelivable avoids the head kick by Bowen .
Unbelivable wants to counter with a clinch but Bowen pushes him away. Unbelivable is looking to clinch but Bowen is avoiding it.
Unbelivable shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bowen sprawls well. Bowen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Unbelivable gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Unbelivable misses with a takedown attempt and Bowen counters with an outside leg kick.

A very excited looking Luke Bowen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Usko Unbelivable was interviewed post fight and said 'well he was a better man tonight'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey shoots in for a takedown but Lindberg shows good takedown defense. Lindberg lands a leg kick that knocks Bailey off balance momentarily. A combination from Lindberg does no damage. Bailey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kelton Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bailey misses with a low kick.
Bailey fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lindberg checks it well. Bailey dives in and grabs Lindberg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lindberg pushes down on Bailey's head and hops out. Lindberg wants to counter the offense by Bailey and move into the clinch position. Bailey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lindberg. Bailey changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've been hearing reports that Bailey has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bailey closes the distance and clinches up with Lindberg, looking for a takedown. Bailey pushes Lindberg against the cage but Lindberg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelton Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lindberg throws the left hand but Bailey avoids the punch easily. Lindberg scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bailey is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Caldwell lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kaewsamrit off his feet! Kaewsamrit tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lincoln Lau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Sanford! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sanford lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lau has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lau and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. As Sanford tries to get set, Lau tries to push him back and clinch up but Sanford manages to avoid the attempt. Nathan Sanford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
