 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brigand moves into range and clinches up with Cannister. Cannister is working Brigand over against the cage. Brigand using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cannister has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Brigand is looking to break free of the clinch but Cannister has double underhooks. Brigand misses with the head strike.
Cannister breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brigand checks the leg kick. Brigand throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cannister. A head kick misses from Cannister.
Brigand gets a clinch. Brigand misses with a short punch on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Brigand's face as he tries to break the clinch. Cannister stalling the fight.

Brigand gets tackled into the cage by Cannister. Cannister maintains the clinch.

Brigand fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cannister manages to avoid it. Brigand keeps the fight on the outside. Brigand appears to be looking for a big counter. Cannister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brigand drives through and clinches with Cannister against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brigand misses with a hook to the ribs.
Brigand's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cannister controlling the action here for a moment.

McDonald tries to keep at a distance but Chandrake has taken the fight into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Chandrake's face as he tries to break the clinch. Chandrake tries to circle away but McDonald has him pinned against the cage.

Frewin looks to land a left hand but Peters moved out of range nicely. Peters follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Frewin moves away from the strike by Peters. Peters defending well as Frewin loads up on a big left hand. Frewin misses with a low kick as Peters jumps back. Peters let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Frewin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Frewin swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Peters is trying to force a seperation but Frewin has the dominant position. Frewin tries a body shot but Peters blocks it.
Frewin swings wildly with an uppercut but Peters uses good head movement to avoid it. Peters tries a body shot but Frewin blocks it.
Peters wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Frewin takes a shot to the head. Frewin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Peters lands a right hand that snaps the head of Frewin backwards.
Peters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Frewin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Peters has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Peters and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Peters appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Frewin closes the distance but Peters moves to the side
and Peters counters with a crisp right hand that drops Frewin! Peters lets Frewin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Frewin is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frewin tries to get into range but Peters steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Frewin! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Peters scores the big KO victory!
