I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Puukko Miekka was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miekka lands a nice shot that snaps Adams's head back.

Miekka pivots and extends the arm, Adams falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Miekka! Well done that man!

Werner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Timo Werner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
